I'm overhauling my 150 gallon tank (standard 6 feet long, 24 in deep, 18 in wide). I would like to hang this light (72 in EVO Quad 3w LED) from the ceiling above my tank at a height that allows for medium light (40 par or so) at the substrate, which is about 3 in thick at at its highest point. I'm running CO2, so I could get away with more than that if necessary. Unfortunately I do not have access to a PAR meter. Does anyone have data, or maybe an estimated guess, at how high above my tank this needs to be? In addition, has anyone got experience hanging these and what gear did they use to do it? Thanks in advance!
