Whats wrong with duckweed? If you have goldfish, they can eat the duckweed. It will regrow faster than the goldfish can eat it giving you an infinite food supply while keeping the toxic nitrates down. They can also provide shade as a sanctuary space for newly hatched fry.

I also have other plants if you are interested.

I'm guessing because duckweed is basically worthless $$ wise while buces actually cost a good amount of $$
I have read that some scientist are trying to use duckweed as a source of biofuels instead of algae.

Anyway, I would be willing to trade any of my plants for Buces.

Thanks.

I would suggest listing the other plants as I am sure they would be more desirable than duckweed, which is a plant that is often given away for free on these forums. Hope you get what you're looking for!
