I've seen Apistos at Aqua Imports, don't know what kind but they were definitely labeles as Apisto (forget species here).

i still haven't had a spawn....dont know what it is, might be my canister filter spitting out too many nitrates or something. Females are all super yellow, just haven't had any spawns in this setup yet, they were like every other day in my 75.....

Aqua imports stocks both Cacatuoids and Borelli

They do not carry them all of the time, and if they are out of stock, they can order them for you. They get shipments in every wed. for fish. I have also seen Apistogramma bitaeniata, Apistogramma agassizii there as well. About fish usually has double reds in stock. And I have seen double reds at Golden fish as well.

If you want you apisto's to breed i would suggest doing a water change with some colder water. It triggers them to start breeding because it signals the rainy season.

have u tried to time it with a cold front or drop in the barometric pressure, also are u doing a good variety of foods like shrimp, bloodworms, spirulina, earthworms? ive always had great success when changing foods and temps although he could just not be interested in her have you tried a diff male competition can be good at times..
