Looking for a T8 bulb with high Red PUR..Any suggestions.

HD & Lowes sells 5000K daylight bulbs that should give you what you are looking for.

But i've also seen the results from the testing of those bulbs...
not so good in the PUR department... actually pretty bad

Have you tested these? How do you know they wont get the job done? I see you have done some reading but sometimes it's best to keep it simple and not over complicate your setup with all these ratings....just try it yourself and if it works then great.

See the pantanals in my sig.....those crappy lights did that If you look around some more you might find other pics to show you that the ligts do work.

I keep it simple, all my tubes are from Lowes and I grow some of the most difficult (for some) plants out there with great colors......

what kind of bulbs do you have in your set up..

HD 6500K daylight and Lowes 5000K sunlight. I got them form the different stores for particular reason. I just happened to walk into each at different time that day.

ya thats the combo I was thinking about getting... mixed in with a 1000k from petco
