Hey everyone, been a while since I was last on here. Work and school has kept me busy among other things.

Anyways... I was wondering if there was any good place near Newark, DE that sells NICE fish, and maybe live plants. There was a place I heard of on the radio but I forgot the name :icon_roll.

I live in MD, but I go to school at UD so I am in the area when I'm at school.

Thanks for the info,
Andy

I know this is an older thread, but might I add a store to help your quest to find plants and fish....

Premium Aquatics

5 Chestnut Hill Rd.

Newark, DE 19713

(302)224-FISH

This storefront used to be Newark Tropicals, which personally I thought the store wasn't well kept.... I ALWAYS found dead fish in the tanks, and when this was pointed out to the employees (which were teenagers) I'd get a shrug, and then ignored....

BUT... Now that it has reopened as Premium aquatics, all of that has changed... They have a breeder tank in the middle of the store that is jam packed with plants, four or five rows of freshwater, and two rows of salt with corals and fish.

this is probably way to far for you but "THE HIDDEN REEF" in levittown a little north of philadelphia is the best place around i can find. Huge shop looks like an old supermarket. Decent live plants lots of fish no floaters or sinkers in the tanks. lots a variety and all the hardware and equipment you could imagine. they have a website but i dont think they sell live things threw it. if your ever in the area stop by... very knowlagable staff there. ;)
