Went to Brooklyn Zoo and Aquarium today looking for Cryps, they had none. However they did have a really nice little H.C. which I don't know if I'll have any luck with it but it was such a nice plant I bought it. The other is the Lobilia Cardinalis, never had it before. Is it easy to grow? Can I just do liquid ferts or would plant tabs be better?

Thats the emersed plant that was growing in my planter, you said you wanted to try.

I dont know how to propagate it, so I trimmed off one piece and stuck it on another planter to see if roots will grow or if it will die. You can have it if its alive? It says they propagate by cuttings but...shrug. I see no roots yet.

I bought the plant,it looked nice and healthy. I hope it stays alive in the tank. Found some info that said it will get smaller leaves, I guess not look like it does now. Thanks anyways

I just got the dwarf variety for my 10 gallon. I'll post pics in that journal of it in a bit.
