Limnophila sessiliflora turning brown?

10243 Views 6 Replies 6 Participants Last post by  Rusticdr
I have a 29-gallon tank with pressurized CO2 and 72-watts of lighting, which is on for 7 hours each day. I'm EI dosing on a daily basis. The tops of my limnophila sessiliflora have recently begun to turn brown, but only the tops. This occurred shortly after a water change and a spot Excel treatment for BBA.

Why is this happening?

Are you sure it is not just turning an orangish red? Mine does this from time to time as it reaches the surface.

This is the picture of the plant found on aquatic plant central

Just remember this plant is very invasive, and must be utterly destroyed after trimming.
