Limias?

650 Views 4 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  elegysanft
I went to a club meeting on Saturday and heard a fascinating lecture on guppies/life theory so I wanted to get into Livebearers again.

I picked up some Limia Melanogaster from the auction and they are neat little fish but I am having issues finding solid information on them.

Has anyone kept these specific fish before or have information on them that is correct?

Limia species are typical livebearers who like hard water and temps in the seventies. I have heard that they are sensitive to dirty water, but otherwise are easy to work with, and that males take a long time to sex out.
much appreciated everyone, ill take a look at the links
