I have ramshorn snails and columbian ramshorn snails. Since the introduction of the columbian ramshorns, I've noticed little things crawling on some of the snails. I figured they were baby ramshorns, but now I'm so sure.

Please help ID!

You're right, I think they need more calcium. I've been giving them broccoli hoping that gives them the trace nutrients they need. Maybe I should invest in different foods like you said.

I'm not sure if it's calcium deficiency, but that snail is a blue columbian ramshorn snail. It's supposed to be that pearly, almost blue color. Is there anything besides the color that indicates calcium deficiency to you?
