Looking to put lights on a low tech 5.5g only gonna dose excel no flourish. Is fugeray ok for low light or would a planted plus be better. Are there any other good options that I should know about. Thanks for the help.

Fugeray should be fine. What are the dimensions of your tank?

The tank is 16 X 8.4 X 13.6. The light is 9.5 to 10 inches from substrate.

Yea, Fugeray or Planted+ should be fine. I just put on the Planted+ on my Mini-M that has similar dimensions and it is a lot brighter than the Fugeray. But I balance that with EI and Excel, when I remember.

Sounds like I will go with the planted plus. I have a few already but those are on high tech tanks. Wasn't sure if it would be to much. I read your thread on your tank petern1986. Very nice tank. Wish I could have one at work.
