Has anyone attempted seting up a planted trigon 350.. With this tank being so deep, can I ask what lighting set up you are using??????

Welcome to tpt! That tank is around 30inches tall right? If you are looking at a high light tank I would go with a high quality metal halide pendant. This tank is an odd shape so I'm not sure what kind of coverage you will get. I think you could probably get away with using a 150w fixture but you might have some lower light areas around the edges of the tank. Congrats that tank will look awesome!

Thanks for the info.... I have the standared T5 set up which wont penetrate to that depth... Other than Metal Halide do you think the new led systems would be of any use.... Im a bit unsure as its my first go at a planted tank...

I would post the led question in the lighting forum. That's hoppys hangout. I believe he has tested leds with a par meter, and can give you a fairly accurate answer on what you need.
