Just picked up a 29 gallon tank on a dollar per gallon sale. I’d like to plant it with some eventual Co2 injection. Any recommendations for a light for this size tank?

Cheap options are lights like nightcrew and beamswork da spec. You can get dimmers for both for around 10-15 dollars more. More expensive options include things like the fluval, twinstar, kessil, and many others. DIY options include regular BR30 light bulbs or better yet, smart bulbs. Depends on how much you want to pay and whether you want something out of the box etc.
