I am looking at setting up a low tech / low to med light planted tank but am wanting some help as far as lights go. It is a marineland 47 gal column tank which means that it is rather narrow but deep. From top to bottom, it is about 30". After I put in my substrate, it will be approximately 28" to the substrate. The question is, what lights do you recommend? I was looking at Hoppy's PAR thread and it looks like T5HO are my only option in order to get that deep. Any suggestions?

Two T5HOs with good reflectors will give you medium light.
