Hey Fellas, fellettes,

I'm trying to source some lighting for my new 72 gallon bowfront, and I'm looking for recommendations.

I'm going for a mid-to-high light tank. I'm just using a glass top on the tank, no canopy (it's pretty big and imposing in my little apartment with the Oceanic canopy on)

I was looking at this:

I'm also open to buying a low-profile canopy with t5 built in, but I don't know if all 72 gallon bowfronts share the same footprint, or if some makes have more or less curve to them than others.

You'll likely need to run CO2 over the tank with that fixture unless you suspend it up higher than those legs.

And for the same $$, I'd go with a 4x54 Solar T5HO from www.CatalinaAquarium.com. Then you have the option of running 4 bulbs if you do go with CO2 on the tank.

Thanks again, Laura. I'm chatting with them about shipping and duty. It kills me - the exchange rate is so even right now, yet prices below the border are way cheaper thatn up here. Frustrating.

I'm looking at $80 shipping at least. And then duty!

Or, I can buy a 2 bulb 48'' Hagen Glo at the LFS for $190.00
