Lighting for 55 gallon

I am considering purchasing a 55 gallon tank as an "upgrade," to my 33 long. Just considering currently. I get in some ways it will be a downgrade as well, one of them being lighting. I am able to get away quite well with just a simple Finnex Stingray fixture on my 33 long. I am not sure what the exact lighting would be considered. Low light? Maybe the lower end of medium light? I am able to grow plants pretty well, albeit slowly. Crypts, Swords, Rotala, and some other stems I've had great success with.

I really like the Stingray fixtures. I like how compact and simple they are, and usually under 100 dollars. Now if I upgrade to a 55, my assumption is obviously I would need a stronger fixture. Would the Finnex Stingray 2 fixture be adaquate to match a similar setup I have achieved in my 33 long? My Dad has one on his 10 gallon and it is noticeably brigher than mine.

They currently have the fixture for 61 dollars on sale. I was able to get one for 65 dollars after taxes. Not too shabby. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it though. Using it over my 33 long, it looks nice or whatever but uh... Idk there's something weird about it that looks off or not natural maybe? I've been using my regular Finnex Stingray for three years now with no issues. It's noticeably brighter.

I don't know whether I should go from a 33 long to a 40 long, 55, etc. I'm sure the fixture would probably look a little different over a 21 inch tall 55 gallon tank. The moonlight is pretty cool.
