Lighting for 29 gallon

Ok, I'm ready to get lighting for my 29 but I'm a little confused as to what I should get and I'm also on a budget.

So do I need NO or HO T5 (yes I want to go high tech but co2 is still about 1 to 2 months out) and 1 or 2 or 4 bulbs? And then how bad would it be to have 10k/atnic over the tank for a while?

Looking for advice....

With CO2, definitely go with a 2X24 model. A 3X24 would be optimal but hard to find (none that I've ever seen).

You could go with a 4X24, like a SunBlaze fixture (look it up on Ebay, usually about $120 with 6500K bulbs installed).

That would be a CRAZY amount of light unless you suspend it up a bit higher.

Oh, and a 10K and 460nm blue will do just fine over a plant tank. May look odd at first but honestly that's how my LED array is over my 10g--- half cool white, half royal blue, and it's a fw plant tank, looks beautiful.
^Note that some would consider my lighting suggestion to be overkill, and they are probably right-- I almost always have algae in my tanks but the plants look great and my catfish are always plump n fat, so I consider a little excess light to be a benefit :D
Go with NO not HO. Ive got the coralife 2x24" t5NO and it works just fine.
