Hi all,
I'm currently using a finnex fugeray clip on planted + light on my three gallon aquarium. My dwarf hair grass is growing nicely with ferts and co2 as is my water lettuce. I created a roped off area for the water lettuce but I'm having to prune it every day because it's just growing out of control! My question is do you think the DHG would be able to survive if I allowed the water lettuce to take over the entire top of the tank? Or would it block out too much light for the DHG possibly?
Thanks again -Heidi

I am by no means an expert but I say try it. I was also under the impression that dhg needs "high light" but I think more importantly is rich substrate, a good amount of co2 and moderate light. When I had high light on my tank the dhg actually turned lighter in color and laid flat to the substrate. If it starts to go south just remove some water lettuce.
