Original title, no?

I'm setting up a 50 gallon (36X16X20) and looking for a little advice on type of lighting. The current lighting is 60 watts of t12, pretty minimal. I believe to achieve what I want I will have to increase the lighting intensity a little. I want to stay medium to low light and avoid CO2 but still be able to grow a variety of lower light plants such as hygro, vals, some crypts etc. In your valued opinions would a person be better off going with 2-t5s (only 42 watts, but t5s are a lot more efficient right?). Another option I'm considering would be either a dual 36 or 55 watt AHSupply kit. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Thanks! I appreciate your response. I'm trying to set this up right from the beginning and the efficiency of the different lighting options makes getting the correct light levels a mystery to me.
