I have a 56 gal column with two current usa nova extreme t5 ho fixtures 2x24 each. I am looking to upgrade my lighting, I found a light at catalina aquarium, 8x24 t5 ho fixture. Would this be two much light, or should i just add another nova extreme fixture to make my lighting 6x24?

In the tank now I have a few java ferns, twisted vallisneria, moneywort, amazon sword, and red ludwiga. the plants dont seem to be growing well and the red ludwiga is turning green. I would like to grow more red plants but the ludwiga isn't giving me much faith. The tank has presurized co2, eco complete substrate and I dose flourish and flourish iron.

I think my po4 and no3 are ok, in the right range. I not sure what i might be missing for plant growth... I'm not sure what I am missing for the red plants if my lighting is too high?

If you aren't dosing nitrates and phosphates and potassium (KNO3 and KH2PO4) you don't have enough.
