After reading through, I don't think MVPets in Portage MI is on there.
I can't give an unbiased opinion on MVPets because I work there, but as far as my opinion goes MVPets is pretty good. We specialize in cichlids mostly, but we have a small selection of plants. :)

The old Seaworld on Gratiot is completely remodeled with new owners.Tons of plants and a 5000 and 2ooo gallon wall display that will knock you over.Nice owner and everything is brand new,fresh and salt water.Called the Flower barn now.

I stopped by Kee's the other day on Van ****... Still a very cool store but not really particularly fond of how they are remodeled parts of it. It seems as so they might have less aquarium supplies now. They used to have a bunch of driftwood which is what I was looking for.

They also had a very interesting tank there. A 53 breeder which is made by Marineland. Dimensions of it are 36x18x21. Much better alternative to a 40B IMO. It was only around 120 bucks. Not for me though. I prefer my 55 with how much length there is to it.
