:help: What is this?? I found it in a FW state stocked fishing pond and collected some. I just want to know what it is and if I should put it in my tank or not.
Look at Najas guatelupensis and see if it looks similar to that. Maybe not from the photo, but outside it grows a bit differently than in a tank, so maybe.

There are no stems. They seam to branch off by growing new plants off of the leaves. The leaves are the size of Dwarf Hairgrass' leaves. I also don't see any roots.
It does not seam to be algae. The just float around in the water and bunch up on things.
