Got way too much time on my hands! Positively, my last tank project for awhile. Was inspired by another Lego tank on this forum, this is my version of a planted tank that I typically build. :bounce:

144cc LEGO rimmed cube tank
lighting: LEGO "Finnex" light fixture 2.5"
filtration: LEGO "Ehiem" canister
CO2: LEGO paintball tank & regulator
substrate: LEGO black
plants: LEGO rosette "center" & Lego stems "corners"
stand: LEGO wood storage stand

Way to go, fellow LEGO! Hopefully some other builders will pull their bricks "out of the closet" and show us more tank builds!

Love the CO2 system!
What about a light saber dual t5 ho since u don't have to worry about algea?

Now that is a great idea! I have those pieces and believe that it would look very realistic.
Unfortunately, all me tanks are lit w/ LEDs or natural sunlight so no fluorescents for me. This build was a "Pick a Brick" project. 55 pcs and this was much cheaper than the tank pedestal for my "MacAquarium" project. :bounce:

Very nice. What's your dosing regime on this tank?

Don't dose cause LEGO black is like AS Amazonia. :bounce:

your are my new hero.

Did you wait for it to cycle or did you plant it straight away?

Just like AS Amazonia, LEGO Black has everything you need for plants. For any animals, need to cycle for 3-4 weeks to get the NH4 under control. Looking for a LEGO shrimp to add when that time comes. Know where I can find one? :bounce:

Obsessed is when you have six tanks in a 1 bedroom apartment. This is a way to keep it light. :bounce:

I don't know about that, I have a serious investment in LEGOs and my daughter is only 3.

I can relate to that... They are so damn expensive now! Good thing I have multiple moving boxes full of Legos ready for when my daughter gets a little older ;).

I started a thread in the aquascaping section of TPT. If you got skills, put together a scape, take a pic & post. Have fun w/ it!!! :bounce:
