Question how often do you replace your led lights?
I have a 12 gallon bookshelf tank running co2 and and jc&p 33-45 strip light on it at 9000 (3yrs) hours now. It used to grow my red plants really well. Not anymore. I am still fertilizing same , water same , co2 same....

Without "before" measurements it is hard to tell.
But first question did you dim them?

Poorly designed fixtures could have suffered output losses.

9000 hrs would be very short to have significant light loss.

And are you sure it's the LEDs themselves and not another component within the fixture?

I've had LEDs last nearly 40,000 hours on even the cheapest "BeamsWork" fixtures from fleabay and some early Marineland units (one over my 12gal long, coincidentally.) But have had to replace other components on both brands multiple times - along with parts replacements for fancier systems from companies like ADA and AI.

Have you tried taking it apart to see if anything's wonky? Or tried a different/newer power supply?

May even be worth reaching out to the manufacturer to ask if there are any known issues with those units. They may have insights that could help you pinpoint the problem you're experiencing.

Lights listed at 43 watts.
28 seems more out of spec even considering
any wishful thinking...

Power supply may have issues. 3 years is about the time cheap power supplies die.
If 12v find a 4a or better switching ps
If 24v find a 2a or better switching ps

Recheck wattage.
