I asked in a previous thread regarding the strength of my LED that came with my kit hood. I just spoke to aqueon and they said each light (it has 3 center/sides so 9 total). They said each (forgot the term, odium?) light is 0.5 so wondering what I could categorize these under low or medium? I wanna be able to know what I can shop for as far as plants. I currently have Brazilian sword, anachrias and hygrophilia compact.

Thanks

IF they were referring to "diode" and each is .5W.. it is still low light..

I doubt it, I'm doing the research as well right now... check this thread out: http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/showthread.php?t=160396

I have a 24 diode LED fixture that came with the tank ( 10 Gallon) and I'm thinking about getting a 16" Finnex FugeRay Planted+ fixture: http://www.aquavibrant.com/lighting...anted/finnex-fugeray-planted-led-fixture.html

How big is your tank??
13g..from prev posts

Just read up on that site, doesn't look promising. I really want to grow plants and won't upgrade for about another 6 months. I did set a bright reading light at the tank hopefully that works
