I was wondering if its ok to run different leds (LEDs) of different wattage on the same driver, say a 5w an a 3w an 1w all adding up to the driver wattage?
If i had a 10w driver can i run a 5w a 3w an 2-1w?

The reason for asking is cuz i have these led set ups where u solder either 4-5 leds on a little aluminum disk so i set mine up with a 1-3w an 4-1w leds which comes to 7w so i plant to run these with a few other leds to add up to 100w.

These r a mix of 5w an 7w, the 4 discs on top r 5w an the bottom ones r 7w.

Technically not an issue w/ a constant current driver..

Wattage varies by amps and V(f)...
If you want to seriously get your wattage per unit.. Just run one and measure the voltage across the unit and put a 1 Ohm resistor in series and measure the voltage between it (translates to A)..
Then V X A=W

That will be the Watts your PS sees...

A bit on Watts and LED's.. some good info here:

BTW: what size tank are you putting these over?
