Ok I bought 6 oto from LFS and they mistakenly gave me 3 fat algae eaters instead of oto. The problems is these 3 algae eaters are lazy @sses they just sit at the bottom doing nothing but swimming frantically once a while.

should I get rid of them because they are not doing what I want them to do which is cleaning up the substrate? Or they can do something constructive?

Reurn them and get the Otos. That would be your best bet IMO.

otos dont clean the substrate like a loach would. but if you wanted otos and paid for otos go get youre otos
