Koralia Nano 240 Quick Review

So I've been having some issues in my tank with getting good water circulation in all areas. I am running a SunSun 302 filter and although it's output is good, my 26 gallon Bowfront tank has had issues with BBA in the one back corner. So I was on the hunt for something to give me some better circulation without becoming a huge eyesore in the tank, and this eventually led me to the Koralia Nano series of powerheads.

I originally was going to go with the 425 after reading alot of stuff about people not thinking the 240 had much power. Well I'm glad I chose to go with the 240 instead. Installation was super easy and I really like the dual suction cup/magnet setup to hold it in place. It feels very sturdy and I'm not afraid of it falling and causing havoc in my tank.

As far as power goes, this thing is awesome. I put it in and my tank looked like a freakin tornado was hitting it, stuff was flying and my fish were all huddled together. But after some fiddling around, I found a position that really moves the water around well without overly blasting the fish. The power head has a really strong current right in front of it, but it's aimed outward so as you get a little ways away from it, the movement is much more dispersed.

I highly recommend the Koralia Nano for anyone looking to add some movement to their tanks water

They are awsome, I have one 240 in my 28g and plan on having three 425's in my 120g when its up and running. I love how they disperse the output as oppose to shooting out a jet stream.
I have 3 in a 55 and I love them. They move a lot of water without overly high pressure at the point of discharge. My fish love the current.
The majority of power head size recommendations baffle me. I have a 72 gallon and bought a 750 based on reviews. My plants bent in half. I will likely end up selling it. If I get anything, it will be a 240. 2 if needed but I doubt it.

I know, I guess if you were going for a stream type tank it might be fitting but I'm glad I didn't go for the higher flow. This little 240 is more than adequate for my 2ft long tank.
