I'm looking to make a moss carpet, but I want something that is as bright/light green as HC (or at least not too much darker). Preferably something dense and not Riccia. Cut Marimo balls would be perfect, except they're too dark for what I want.

Any ideas?

Yes, that Notocyphus does look really nice.
Anybody know what shade weeping moss is? Or if it stays nice and low when it's on the ground?
Although I guess whichever I use, it'll be grow, trim, grow, trim, grow, trim for awhile anyways

Did you happen to go with either the Notocyphus Lutescens Moss or the "New Green Carpet moss" from aqua forest? And if so then are you happy with what you received?

I just had some Christmas Moss and Flame Moss arrive from Malaysia today, but the Christmss Moss looks more like something filthy scraped off ones hiking boots, but I'll have to see how it turns out once it has a chance to grow in submerged.
