I hope to buy a used tank stand for a 40L.
Someone has this one for 30 bucks; however, there is a knot hole/split in the top railing, if you will.
I am worried about that.
I intend to put plywood across the top no matter what. But anyway, do you think I should pass on this one?

I would probably get it. It looks like it's partway supported already... But I live on the edge lol. I'd definitely test it first outside with plywood and bricks, though.

Looks fine to me. With a piece of plywood fastend to the top, you should be alright. As for a knot, it is in the best spot it could be.
