Kno3 solution.

No, it isn't normal, other than that you may have too high a concentration, so it doesn't completely dissolve. You could try adding a few drops of swimming pool Muriatic Acid to the mix, to see if that clears it up. But, the easiest fix would be using half the KNO3 and doubling the dosages you use.

Just made a new kno3 solution and it came out perfect. This time I washed the bottle real good and used warm to hot distilled water to mix 70gr of kno3.

Where did you get the dosing bottle? Do you know how many ml's a squirt gives you? This would be cool. I make a stock solution of PO4, but it takes so little, and most dosing bottles are not very accurate. So I make a very dilute solution so that my accuracy is better. Kind of a pain. A bottle like this with an accurate delivery would be nice.

Hi Ben Belton,

I bought 8 bottles and dispensing pumps from US Plastics:
$3.04 24/410 White Dispensing Pump
$5.76 16 oz. PET Round Bottle 24/410

The bottle in the pic dispenses 2 ml but, not all 8 of them dispense the same amount. Some of them dispense 2.5 and 2.3 ml. What I did was, I measured how much each bottle dispenses and wrote the amount on each bottle as you can see in the picture. Btw, you don't need to very exact when dosing EI, imo.

I agree. You need to be close, but not out to 5 decimal places or anything like that.
