hey guy how many kno3 shuld i dose in my 5 gallon tank? i have mediam light co2

Dry ferts ?
KNO3 1/8 tea spoon scrape off top/w knife...flat...not round top.
KH2PO4 use 1 table spoon distilled water...mix 1/64 tea spoon...use half for 1 dose
This is for 1 time a week after Water change
For the KNO3 that is a light dose. You can add more after you see if any deficeicy happens.

before deciding on dosage i would do a nitrate test.

Caution should be used with any calculator. Last week, the calculator was outputting numbers twice what it should have been so if you followed the dosage, you were under-dosing by half. It has just been corrected.

For KNO3, I'd dose 1/40 tsp to start, not 1/8tsp, giving a value of 4.2ppm/5gallons.

1/4 tsp is what the calculator gives for a once a week dose for a 10g tank when
you look under "EI Low light weekly" which does go/w a 50% water change each week.
