I've always loved the simplicity of iwagumi scapes, so about two months ago I threw this creation together. I just wanted a simple, easy tank so that I could watch my shrimp from my desk.

Current tank shot as of 6/12

Lighting:[/B] finnex fugeray-r clip on LED

Substrate: 20lb eco-complete

Filtration: 10g rated HOB filter

CO2: flourish excel every 1-2 days

Hardscape: zebra rocks

Ferts: flourish comprehensive weekly

Flora:

-dwarf baby tears(HC)

-rotala colorata

-hairgrass

Fauna:

-12 fire red/sakura red cherry shrimp

-otos coming soon!

I couldn't even get HC to stay rooted in Eco-complete, much less grow. Congrats on your success so far!
I've found planting with my fingers, then shoving the damn plant pretty much all the way in the substrate.. then pull it up just slightly so it can still get enough light!

Thank you, I am happy with the progress so far.. I am so impatient for it to completely carpet out! :icon_roll
