Hello everyone, I'm looking for some opinions on keeping super tiger shrimp.


My tap conditions are
pH ~8.6
KH 6
GH 11
TDS 300


and from shrimpkeeping.com the requirements seem to be:

PH: 7.0 - 7.4
KH: 4 - 8
GH: 6 - 10
TDS: 100 - 180

pH: 6.6-7.4
KH: 0-8
GH: 6-10
TDS: 80-220

Now I know what ratios to mix my tap with RODI to reach these conditions, but I want to know what others are doing to keep this shrimp. I know that ADA aquasoil can help lower pH and soften water-so should i use inert substrate and tap/rodi mix, or aquasoil and a higher ratio of tap to rodi?

I would appreciate if anyone out there with experience with these shrimp could help me choose which route is best
