Hello guys and gals,
How do you make a hill or incline with sand substrate and keep it from falling or levelling out? I have an idea on an aqua scape I wish to do but am not able to keep the sand in a nice hill shape.

You need something solid to hold the sand in place to create the size and shape you want. Either a row of rocks, or even a piece of low-lying driftwood of suitable length. Many aquarists use a flexible length of fairly thin clear plastic material cut to the dimensions needed to hold the sand back in the tank to the desired depth.
