hey everyone I just ordered all the stuff I need for my 29gal transformation. Everything will be here next week and I would like to start getting plants for the setup. Problem is I want to cycle the aquasoil before planting. Is there a way that I can start ordering plants and have them ready for the big aquascaping day??

Keep your plants wrapped in moist paper towels, sealed in ziploc bags in the refrigerator. I've had them in for up to a couple weeks before and they still looked good when I took them out.

why do you want to cycle the aquasoil before scaping? i have planted in brand new aquasoil without problems.

the whole melting plant thing has me a little freaked. I will have over $100.00 in plants in the tank. I can't afford that loss. thanks for the fridge idea. Does this work with even high light requiring plants??
