I been adding an extension on my home so I can have room for my 300 gallon tank, I have no place to store it in my house at this time so I have no choice but to keep it outside. Now tonight it is freezing outside. it is 3 Celcius or 37.4 fahrenheit. Is this bad for my tank? I am so worried about the tank, I only need maybe a week longer before I will be able to bring it inside.
will my tank be ruined at this temp outside?

For a couple years now i've had my extra 10 and 20 gal tanks out in our camper. It was one ove those trailers that sits in the back of a pickup. lol Just kinda used it for storage. So of course it's unheated and our winters here in IL get really cold below freezing cold. My tanks have been fine.

Don't know if wrapping a couple blankets around it would help or not. Hopefully someone else will chime in but thats my experience. Good luck!

I think as long as it's not holding water you should be fine. It is built to handle the pressure of 300gl of water. Acrylic is used in a lot of extreme temp. conditions.

Thanks! I think there is six inches of rain from last nights rain storm I uncovered it cause I was gonna test fill it then a deadly rain storm hit but I will drain it in morning wrap it good in blankets then tarp it!

+1 was thinking the same

and acrilic can handle very cold temps and very hot temp.
I don't know about the silicone....
