I am the very happy owner of a Juwel 450 Vision. Currently it is lit with its standard 4 T5 tubes. Now what I would like to do is light it using LEDs. I have found LED units that are designed to fit into the holders of T8 tubes, although they have of course got an independent power supply and do not take power from the existing hood. Any one know of something similar for T5 fittings? Or has anybody had success lighting a Juwel tank with LEDs without losing the original tank top? Preferably something that costs less than a small car?
