This always happens. Usually right before you leave on a vacation. And it's why I too invested in an extra tank. This way you can quickly switch to the full back-up one from the garage, and not have to run out to get the empty one replaced right away. One long weekend of no CO2 can equal a month or more of a nasty BBA break-out a few weeks later.

Mix a DIY co2 for the weeken

I just got another 4L of Excel a couple of weeks ago, so I can just up the dosage for a few days. That is my backup.

That is very generous. But I will be fine with the excel. I live in the Bethany area. What about you?

Probably a good idea. I just replaced my bulbs and cleaned my reflectors today. It is a lot brighter now.

Like the Alaska pipeline? LOL. I think I am a couple of feet short, I only bought 10 feet at AFA last week, I'm gonna have to run and get more. LOL

I also experienced some issues with my CO2 yesterday. My diffuser is not putting out bubbles, I checked and the tank is still full, I don't really know what happened, but I haven't had time to trouble shoot. Luckily my drop checker is still green, but I have to figure out where the problem lies. I have a spare diffuser, but if it is the regulator, I have to spend some money before I wanted to.

I also have a 2 liter bottle of Excel for a back up,but having two CO2 tanks isn't always the perfect back up for emergencies.
