Hi All
I just received a box of plants. and they are very cold. They are in zip lock bags and the plants are wraped in paper towel. Still good and wet. Should I put them rite in the tank or let them come to room temp first?

as long as it wasnt frozen, it should be ok put it in the tank and let it float around first, if it was frozen then thaw if would look like boiled spinach, this means the plants are goners

I just did too....man it's cold

I just planted mine right in the substrate....I think they will adjust OK.

Thansk for the fast replies. They were not frozen but the mail left it at the door witha BIG hole busted in the side of the box. I have started to put them in the tank already. Have to see how it works out. Im so new to the planted tank.

Yeah, I got a package from him not to long ago. Watch out for thread algae. He has nice plants otherwise.

Thread algae? Man I got alot to learn. I added CO2 to the tank, said I wasn't going to but did anyway. Trying to get that set rite. 2 coral lite T5 56 W fixtures. Hope that is enough. The africans were so easy.
