I don't remember the asking price, but I agree on your point. On all my FB, local sell groups, even CL, the prices are out of the normal range. I don't see why a person can offer a used tank at many $'s a gal and expect to sell it. I guess if new people to the hobby would not jump on these supposed deals and wait or buy new then the used market would self adjust to a more reasonable rate like it was.

agreed. But I did, just a couple days ago, pick up a 4' x 2' x 1' and paid $100 cause when the hell do you see those! thats, 4 feet long, 2 wide, and just 1 foot high. I don't even have a plan, just have always wanted one this shape. lol. thinking cory heaven with maybe a cool Ram pair and a built up cascading water feature in the middle. Today, I was thinking of putting it 6' up between two shelves so I could watch fish from below. lol.
