People argue that they improve water quality and make the conditions better suited for shrimps, but I like it because my CRS/CBS use it as food. It's always covered with shrimps. Even the tiny shrimplets graze on it.

I replace them every six weeks or so when they're covered with holes.

You can soak them before adding them to your aquarium if you don't want it to. 25 should last a very long time also.

There's no noticeable yellowing in the water. I use 1 leaf at a time.

I order 400 leaves at a time and they last for 9 months to 1 year.
I use to much of them, with every water change I put 10 - 20 leaves in my tank, I like the look of black water and It nicely lowers my ph and softens the water for my South American fish.

I put one leaf in a 20 gallon shrimp tank - it doesn't make the water yellow, the shrimp eat the leaves so it must be beneficial for them.

mordalphus (sp?) sells them, he uses it so you know it's not treated. I've been meaning to try it but just never got to ordering.

I use liam's IAL's too. They smell good to me too lol

They have a nice smell compared to the ones you get on [Ebay Link Removed] I dunno why, but they seem nicer quality too.

I got them from [Ebay Link Removed] 25 should last a while in a 40B. the only bad thing is that the leaves are coming overseas. several days to get them

I order freshly collected leaves every winter from a high quality supplier overseas, they aren't ironed and graded, theyre just the best.

I have some left, but they aren't as fragrant as they were back in January and February.
