Java moss help please?

Where in the tank is the Java moss? IME Java moss grows pretty much everywhere except once where i jammed a handful behind my filter intake tube and it browned from being compacted. Or, it can get brown by attracting alot of debris to cling to it.

Don't throw it out. Browning of moss is normal with a drastic change, it will come back to.life if provided the right enviorment.

I cut up a bunch of moss into small pieces and it was brown, put it in a Tupperware with fresh tap water which I change daily and it all has turned green and been growing awesomely. Just make sure its getting so e proper light and fresh clean water.
