I just got a bunch of Java moss. I put part of it in my 29g which has an inexpensive Nicrew bi-color (blue/white) light. I know java moss is easy to grow, will it be okay with a blue/white light. I have RGBW lights on my two planted tanks.

These 3 moss pads are all under an aquaneat fowlr (blue/white) light. Grows just fine. Also have some under cheap walmart led shop lights that grow well too.

Should be fine- keep the nutrients low as once hair algae gets in them, its a killer. One tip too is- aim a flow of water over it and Java Moss will display a nice flowing and layered shingled leaves type of growth. Prune what gets too long.
