So my Java fern is notorious for producing babys. My only concern is the roots that come off the plantlet are brown and often fuzzy. At this point, the roots are so long, and the plant looks mature enough, so should I just go ahead and pick it off and stick it on some dry wood?

Another question, my Anubis looks not so hot. And any suggestions as to what could be wrong would also be greatly appreciated. I have a hunch it has to do with water hardiness and acidity, maybe too much or too little fertilizer? Idk please help
