Hello everybody and Happy New Year!
I have a tropical pond where I grow plants in order to give to friends and use them in my aquariums. Due to life reasons, I abandoned it for a couple of weeks and now I have a terrific algae bloom. It feels however very robust and compact algae and I was wondering if it is a good moss that people want to have in their aquarium and if yes what moss is it?
Also any ideas of how to clean my Rotala rotundifolia from the algae? The problem is that rotala is softer than the algae so its very hard to remove it without tearing the stem of the plant.

thank you very much!
