I've been out of town all week and I came home to find something going on with my plants

The photo below is one of my water lilies and as you can see there is some kind of spots on it. I noticed that some of my apongeton leaves have holes in them. one of my Hygro Corymbosa has dropped a lot of leaves and they had weird holes or abrasions.

Any ideas? I really hope it doesn't wipe out my plants!

I can't tell for sure but it looks a lot like it's getting attacked by a pest that is common to garden plants. If you look closely at the damage you should be able to see a tiny caterpillar looking thing. You can follow the link for more info though

Hmmm could be but it doesn't explain the submerged plants. I will continue to watch but my temple plant is losing lots of leaves daily :-(
