Introducing water from the tap during a water change will usually cause "fake" pearling. Water from the tap has a lot of dissolved gases in it, so the bubbles you are seeing are likely the dissolved gases making their way back out of solution.
And in most cases Pearling will appear to be a single stream of bubbles coming from the plant, but not necessarily a stream as they are sometimes a few seconds apart
even to the point that it seems like one and then a while later another. But a plant
growing well will have a steady stream of them.
Don't have one but sometimes if you look up a particular plant on Google search
and clic on the one marked Images...sometimes on there you will see one or more of the pictures that has pearling. You might notice that those bubbles often are on the bottom of the leaves when there is a lot of Pearling.
