I ordered pygmy chain sword, but I'm not sure what I received. It was very cheap, $0.89/plant. I've had the plants submerged for a little over a month now.

Here are some pictures:









Most of them melted away. I removed all but the healthiest plants, though even those aren't looking too great.

That actually looks like dwarf sagittaria.
Almost 100% positive as I have about 40 bunches in one tank. spreads like crazy hence why its so cheap.
Dwarf sag can be picky initially IME, especially with excel at regular and high doses will cause melt, best to use half dose and work up so the plant can build a resistance to the effects.
Yeah chain swords have leaves that bulge slightly in width, this is def dwarf sag.

Hi tenthe,

Here are pics of Pygmy Chain Sword (where I was dosing 2X Excel 'Daily' dose) and a pic of green Mondo Grass. I agree yours looks like a Sagittaria.
