Is this lighting enough ?

Hi all , i have 2 10W lamps for my 60 gallon tanks 20 inch high, i think their is enough brightness :confused1: what do you think ?

I don't think so... Plus that ribbon plant is semi-aquatic and will eventually rot if left fully submerged.

Depending on the goals of your tank (i.e. low, moderate, or high light), consider upgrading the lighting. Go with a T5HO or LED system.
+1 or at least get 2 - 23 watts CFL bulbs instead of those 10 watts.

I was thinking boost more 3 10W lamps so their will be 50W combine do you think it will work ? i use them because they are waterproof .
I am not convinced Yusuf, your tank is somewhat deep, 20 inches. For 60 gallons, I would use 3-4, 23 watts CFLs depending on the length of the tank

I would think of using 10watts for 10-20 gallons tanks personally. I fear the cabombas will not get enough light with 10 watts CFLs. If you try it keep us posted. :smile:

Other thoughts from other people?
