I was wondering if this i good for plant tanks or if i sould get a higher wattage light

Forget Jebo.

96W will be enough for a medium to high light tank. For demanding plants, you might want to think about a 2x96W fixture.

I'd get a 2x65 watt fixture. That's plenty of light for anything.

Odyssea and Jebo have been known to cause fires.

Get either a 2x96W or 2x65W. I have a 2x96W over my 40 gallon breeder tank and I liked it. I'll be upgrading to 2x150W MHs though.

should i get new bulbs? Because i have 96W 6700K right now any suggestions of what i should get because i need to make my light last for a little longer..

How old is the bulb? You need to start thinking CO2 also.
